What are the dates of the trip?
The trip dates TDB. Planning on May or June 2023.
What is the cost of the trip?
The investment for this trip per couple is $15,500 USD per couple. Single occupancy is available for $9,750 per person.
What does the cost of the trip include?
Five night’s accommodations at the Royal Champagne Hotel & Spa, access to the hotel facilities including fitness center, spa, pools and hot tubs.
Breakfast each morning
5 lunches paired with champagne
5 dinners paired with champagne and wine
5 winery visits/tours and champagne tastings
Group events, including receptions & educational tasting classes
Luxury bus transportation to and from Paris, France (pick up location TBD) to our hotel in Champagne, France, all group tours and events, and as well as a complimentary hotel shuttle for local individual trips.
What does the price not include?
Airfare, hotel accommodations before or after trip, additional gratuities, bellman tips, spa treatments, activities outside of scheduled events, hotel purchases and incidentals, additional food/wine purchases, souvenirs, etc are not included in the trip cost.
How does the payment structure work?
Payment 1: 10% non-refundable initial deposit due at time of booking
Payment 2: 40% non-refundable second deposit due 120 days before trip start date
Payment 3: 50% non-refundable final payment due 30 days before trip start date
**Payments 2 & 3 will be made via personal check or direct bank transfer.
Where are we staying?
The entire 5 nights and 6 days will be spent at the 5 star resort Royal Champagne Hotel and Spa in Champillon, France.
How will the exchange rate effect this trip?
In the unlikely case that the euro to dollar exchange rate exceeds 1.3 at the time of the tour, we reserve the right to adjust the price accordingly (not to exceed 2% of the total trip costs).
What are the passport and other travel requirements?
All attendees are responsible to ensure a valid passport for at least six (6) months past scheduled return date. Attendees are responsible to obtain and comply with their airlines travel requirements and restrictions. All attendees are responsible to provide all necessary health travel documents for international travel based on the individual airline policies.
What happens if I get sick or for personal reasons cannot join the trip?
We Drink Bubbles will not be liable for any injuries, illnesses, delayed flights, missed flight, late arrivals, stolen credit card numbers, lost luggage, any other crazy stuff that can happen to you when traveling internationally for the duration of the entire trip. If you would like to purchase third party travel insurance to cover these scenarios, we encourage you to do so.
What if COVID interferes with our trip?
Should COVID-19 restrictions interfere with our trip, attendees reserve the right to receive a return of deposits paid, or request We Drink Bubbles to retain the deposit to apply to a future trip.
What if I want full-coverage travel insurance?
We Drink Bubbles strongly recommends purchasing additional third party travel insurance through our trusted partner Trawick Travel Insurance to cover unexpected personal circumstances which prevent attendees from participating in the tour. We Drink Bubbles is not responsible to cover any fees incurred by trip cancellations for any reason outside of COVID-19.
What areas of Champagne will we be visiting?
We will be traveling throughout the different regions of Champagne. All day trips will be within a 40 minute drive of our hotel.
What if I have dietary restrictions?
The restaurants will do their best to accommodate all dietary restrictions. We plan to get all attendees restrictions as soon as possible so we can be sure to accommodate.
What if we want to break away from the daily planned itinerary?
At any time, you can feel free to make your own plans or simply skip the tours to relax at our hotel. Please note, your individual activities will not be covered in the cost of the trip.
