Tasting Notes: Due to the long aging this champagne experiences in barrel, the wine is complex in texture and aromas. The nose is a combination of toffee, caramel, green apple and broiche. 

Pairing: This is an extremely vinous wine which pairs very well with food. It would be delicious with aged cheese, Asian cuisine, spicy foods and chicken liver mousse. 

Producer Info: The Guenin Champagne house represents four generations of dedicated viticulture and deeply rooted traditions passed down from father to son. Today, the estate is run by husband-and-wife team, Sebastian and Axelle Guenin, who have not only embraced the family legacy but also significantly elevated the quality of their already remarkable champagnes. Since 2015, Sebastian has led the transition to fully organic farming and adopted biodynamic practices across all their vineyards. Their meticulous attention to detail, both in the vineyard and the winery, results in champagnes that are pure, precise, and exceptionally expressive. The soils of Essoyes, rich in Kimmeridgian limestone and clay, impart a balanced minerality and refined aromas to the wine. Vinification takes place exclusively in oak barrels, adding layers of complexity to the champagnes. As a boutique house, Guenin focuses on quality and precision over quantity.
