Producer Info: Dating back to 1802, the Burckel fields are a reflection of the work of eight generations. Beginning with the farming of herbal teas to cure illnesses, the family’s relationship with nature has spanned centuries. The birth of Burckel-Jung came in 1987 when Thierry Jung’s initiative to plant vineyards was paired with David Burckel’s conviction to make exceptional, quality wines. The family's commitment to quality has led them to become a unique benchmark in Alsace as they have taken the steps to become certified organic as well as biodynamic.
