Tasting Notes: This cuvée has a wonderful complexity and finesse with brioche and candied fruit notes The mouth-feel is beautiful and balanced, opening with buttered toffee and a touch of citrus fruits.

Pairing: A beautiful gastronomic champagne. This would be delicious with white meat, beef tenderloin, surf and turf, and spicy Oriental foods.

Nestled in the small Grand Cru wine growing village of Avize, Pierre Callot is neighbors to some of Champagne’s finest growers including Michel Gonet, Agrapart and Selosse. Since Louis Callot’s birth in Avize in 1784, six successive generations have been committed to viticulture, but it was not until 1955 that Pierre Callot created their own Champagne brand. Today, Maxime and his father Thierry, the 6th and 7th generation, create wonderfully rich and expressive wines from their 7 hectares holdings, the product of centuries of tradition and respect for the biocenosis of their incredible terroir.
