Tasting Notes: Golden yellow, fine and abundant mousse. The nose is complex and slightly toasted. Roasted and dried fruit notes emerges as it opens. The palate is well-structured and rich, giving way to a lovely freshness on the finish.
Pairing: This powerful champagne would be wonderful for a special occasion meal like surf and turf, prime rib or beef Wellington.
Producer Info: The Beaufort family farm is in its 7th generation and recorded their first bottle produced and sold back in 1908. Today, the family estate is run by Arnaud Beaufort in the Gand Cru village of Ambonnay, located 30kms South of Reims and in the Montagne de Reims sub-region. The Beaufort estate is one of the very last growers that continue to use the traditional disgorgement method « A la volée » (meaning by hand) versus the mechanical method commonly used in Champagne. They are sustainable HVE certified and paired with organic farming methods.
