Tasting Notes: This cuvée is pure, bright and fresh. It is pale gold, with fine bubbles and has delicate citrus fruit notes. 

Pairing: This is a really flexible champagne that can be used as an aperitif, but also can be paired with seafood, lobster, sushi, sea urchin, and caviar.

We could not be more thrilled to represent these champagnes in the US and are looking forward to a long relationship with this champagne house as we share their different wines throughout the years to come. Nestled in the small Grand Cru wine growing village of Avize, Pierre Callot is neighbors to some of Champagne’s finest growers including Michel Gonet, Agrapart and Selosse. Since Louis Callot’s birth in Avize in 1784, six successive generations have been committed to viticulture, but it was not until 1955 that Pierre Callot created their own Champagne brand. Today, Maxime and his father Thierry, the 6th and 7th generation, create wonderfully rich and expressive wines from their 7 hectares holdings, the product of centuries of tradition and respect for the biocenosis of their incredible terroir.
